A friend alerted me to an adoption agency called Christian Homes and Special Kids (CHASK). The agency specializes in placing newborn children with the following special needs:
Down Syndrome
Spina Bifida
Drug and Alcohol Effects
Blindness
HIV Positive or AIDS
Fragile X
Reactive Attachment Disorder - RAD
Multiple Handicaps
I am not endorsing this agency and frankly, I know nothing about it other than what I've read on their Web site. If nothing else, the links on the site provide some interesting information about parenting children with special needs.
If anyone has had experience with this agency, please chime in!

Hello, I came across this blog while looking up CHASK info on the web. I wanted to let you know that we adopted our fifth child through CHASK this year. She was born with Down Syndrome. We couldn't be happier with CHASK and the families behind the organization. They truly love the Lord and are doing their utmost to serve him through encouraging families who have kids with special needs and finding homes for children who need homes.

I have a daugter Reina who has down syndrome she is 3 and half years old. Plus I have a 5 7 11 18 year old. Reina has different medical coditions, controlled ephilepsy, Delayed walking and speach. I was thinking of putting her up for adoption too a christian family that can deal with her special needs.
I never thought about this until the last couple weeks when it has put pressure on my marriage and my ulcer and depression. I love reina with all of my heart but I dont knew if I can do it anymore. She is half hispanic and white she has olive skin brown eyes long eyelashes and dark brown hair. Just beautiful. But the doctor visits the medications special diet around the clock care is taking a toll on are family Please Email me back to discuss adoption options for Reina
